We are unable to take strays, surrenders, or found pets from the public. OARS can only accept surrenders from other shelters or those that were adopted from us.

We believe that all cats deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. We take pride in our ability to provide each animal with a cage-free, home-like environment where they can live as naturally as possible until they are adopted by a loving companion.
Our mission is simple → Rescue cats and kittens who are homeless and give them a second chance at life.
Since 2008, OARS has found forever homes for more than 2,600 animals.
