A unique and beautiful kitty; just as beautiful as Thumbelina of the fairy tale.

We aren’t quite sure how to describe Thumbelina. She is one of the most brown colored kitties we have had at the adoption center! The closet we can come is to call her a Snowshoe.

Thumbelina came to OARS with her sister Ophelia. They snuggle all the time and Thumbelina likes to make biscuits on her sister. We really think these girls the should find a forever home together!

The boys are a beautiful black/silver tabby with white boots.

They are so playful and love to explore their world. They are super busy, which translates to messy; toys everywhere, spilled food, blankets on the floor. Typical kitty.

William and Luke have another brother, James Bond, and they love to snuggle and snooze in a huge kitten pile. All would do best with another friend.

Joy has such potential to be a wonderful friend! Joy is a 12 year old, front declawed and FIV+ cat. This poor girl was abandoned outside a veterinarians office in the middle of the night. OARS was able to bring her to the Adoption Center in Neenah. She was quite traumatized but is starting to show us how wonderful she is!

She has a wonderful ‘elevator butt’ and is starting to let more people in to her little circle. She is this volunteers’ very favorite kitty!

Joy would be the most happy in a home with no pets or children. She would enjoy a laid-back home, where I think she will blossom into the wonderful cat we know she is.

This amazing kitty has tested positive for FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, which is an immunodeficiency condition.
Cats testing positive for FIV can live many happy, healthy years , but FIV+ cats do have a weaker immune system than most cats. This means that your kitty needs to be an indoor-only cat, fed a high-quality diet and be seen by your vet every 12 months for a complete exam and as needed in between.
FIV+ cats can live with other healthy cats.

FIV is NOT transmissible to humans or dogs; it is thought to be primarily transmissible to other cats through deep bite wounds from unneutered cats; it is rare for a FIV+ altered cat to give it to another cat. FIV is NOT feline leukemia-which is a fatal disease.

*Read more about FIV here: http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/Health_Information/brochure_fiv.cfm

Heather gets along very well with her other, much larger, roommates!

Heather is FIV+ and has a harder time kicking a bit of congestion and sneezes (kitty cold).

Heather’s veterinarian suggests that she receive receives an antibiotic for her upper respiratory infection on a long term basis. Because of this tendency for kitty colds, sweet Heather may do best in a home where she is not exposed to sick animals.

Stitch is a looker, and like all ladies, does not want to reveal her age! She looks like a little furry black football, but it is all fluff!
